Description

The root of this plant is sometimes harvested from the wild for local use as food and a medicine. It is grown as an ornamental in gardens, valued especially for its mat-forming habit.

It is also used to make essential oils who’s antibacterial and insect-repellent activities are proven to provide good repellant values against insects.
