Lorraine and David’s Garden

This beautiful Comox peninsula garden has been ‘in the works’ for over thirty years. It is just over one acre and contains lush terraced beds, a wonderful variety of fruit, berries and herbs, vegetables interplanted with the blooms, a continuous feast of nectar for the pollinators, a woodland garden, bubbling water features, interesting found objects, and huge established trees. There is something here to be enjoyed by everyone—including Rosie the dog who obviously is living a very happy life!

We visited on an overcast day during a very rainy spring (in May) and things were looking very green. Not mentioned in the video is the fact the Lorraine and David hand water this whole garden (from two wells on the property).

We hope you enjoy the following 15-minute video—also included are some ‘before’ photos that show the truly amazing transformation that has occurred over the past many years.
