Do you enjoy drinking kombucha, and wonder about making your own?  Come and learn about kombucha and how simple it is to brew delicious varieties of kombucha, limited only by your own imagination.  You can also use many of your homegrown fruits, herbs and even some veggies to flavour your brew.

Participants will be offered a SCOBY ( the symbiotic culture of yeast and bacteria) and samples to taste of kombucha.  They will be able to flavour and bottle  500 mls of brew to take home for secondary fermentation. Participants are not under any obligation to use the samples and do so at their own risk. While great care is taken in the preparation of the SCOBY and samples, they are not guaranteed in any way.

Visit Workshop Co-coordinators June Ballantyne and Sonia Gonsalves at the February meeting to register or go online to the CVHS website to register now.
