CVHS “Cycling the Garden Gate”

Gardens by Bike event in downtown Courtenay

This summer, we launched a new event that you, our members, suggested!

It was a perfect day for our inaugural ‘Cycling the Garden Gate’ event! 

We had approximately 65 cyclists visiting 8 gardens in west Courtenay. Over $750 was raised in donations that will be split between LUSH Valley, Lake Trail Community Education Society and Comox Valley Horticultural Society. 

Many thanks to the garden hosts, volunteers and cyclists for making this such a wonderful collaborative event between the Comox Valley Horticultural Society and the Comox Valley Cycling Coalition!

The Comox Valley Cycling Coalition provided a free Comox Valley Cycling Map to all participants to help explore our area on future biking adventures.
