NATIVE PLANTS — FOR BEAUTY & BIODIVERSITY – Brought to you by Streamside Native Plants
Streamside Native Plants members attended a tour of their nursery. On Sunday, June 8, CVHS members had the opportunity to visit the nursery and join a guided tour to learn more about native plants. This is a CVHS exclusive event.
Topics included:
· Adding biodiversity to established hedges and garden edges
· Plant species ideal for lawn replacement
· Native plants for all the different microclimates in a typical garden
· Filling nooks and crannies in your already – full garden
· Bird and insect species associated with specific plants
