Helen Cluett – Vice-President & Program Chair

Helen has been enchanted by gardens and natural spaces since she was a child. The excitement of watching and nurturing plants as they nudge out of the soil, producing something beautiful and/or useful, never gets old.

A graduate of the first Master Gardener program in Calgary, Helen has volunteered with various horticultural organizations over the past 25 years.

“I feel so fortunate to live in the Comox Valley, where there is a stunning array of plants that can survive and thrive. Additionally, the gardening community here is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, giving us the opportunity to grow, connect, and continually learn.”
