March 17, 2025
Caila Holbrook, Project Watershed
Caila Holbrook from Project Watershed will be the guest speaker at our first in-person meeting of the year. There will be a Member Plant Sale, and a Spring-A-Friend event where members can bring a friend for free, and special door prizes.
Want to know more about what is happening beside the 17th Street Bridge at Kus-kus-sum? Ever wonder about those yellow fish signs painted on the pavement? Find out those and so much more with Caila as she delves into the past, present and future of Comox Valley Project Watershed Society. She will give a brief background on the organization and a look at its present projects with a focus on the Kus-kus-sum Project.
Caila has a Masters in International Nature Conservation and a Bachelors in Environmental Science. She’s been involved with environmental projects all over the world. Caila manages Project Watershed’s education and outreach activities working with local schools to provide education and field trips.
